"Here's Prostaffer Luke's wife Heidi with her first bird of the 2010 Spring season. The gobbler was 22.5 lbs, had an 11.5 inch beard, and 1 inch spurs. Luke called it in with one of my slate friction calls. Way to go Heidi!"

"Prostaffer Mike and I bagged this gobbler after it strutted for over an hour just out of shooting range.  I finally got him to come in after using a fighting purr on both glass and slate friction calls.  The bird was 21 lbs, had an 11 inch beard, and 1 3/8 inch spurs.  The strutter was with a hen and finally left her to come in to our calling.  What a hunt!"

Here are the pictures of the last two spring turkeys. Both turkeys were shot early in the morning on the first day of the seasons.  Thanks to you and your calls, my last couple of hunts have been very successful.  My son Adam "helped" put up the blind so we included him in this years picture.

Prostaffer Luke bagged this beautiful 24 pound double bearded Wisconsin bird during the 1st season hunt in Wisconsin. The bird was 24 pounds, had two 10 inch beards, and 1 inch spurs. I called it in for him using an Aluminum friction call and a trumpet.
